Knowledge Services are coming !

In a joint venture with the Melbourne Knowledge Management Leadership Forum the CIN is pleased to present Guy St Clair, President of a New York-based strategy consulting company (SMR International) who has spared the time from his busy Australian schedule to talk with the CIN and the Melbourne KMLF.
Guy is past-president of the Special Libraries Association and is Series Editor for the Information Services Management Series. The topic of Guy’s presentation is the emergence of the information profession of knowledge services which he defines as the convergence of information management, knowledge management, and strategic (performance-centred) learning.
Knowledge services is the management methodology to meet the challenge of finding solutions for:
- handling massive amounts of information
- dealing with the accumulated knowledge building up in the business every day
- getting people to share the knowledge they develop
Come along and join in the discussion of how innovative approaches to knowledge services can boost the performance of your Department.
