Third Rapid Precision Reading Scheduled
Posted by webmaster 29 October 2008

Due to popular demand and strong feedback from our previous two sessions we have scheduled a third Rapid Precision Reading session with Richard Yiap for Dec 2.
In our continuous improvement efforts it’s easy to identify problem areas to work on, but what of the things we do quite well and take for granted ? Reading is one such area. The CIN invites members to participate in a Rapid Precision Reading workshop to help improve our reading speed and practice.
We know that with the increasing pace of life now we really need to to read more and more to stay abreast of things, so how much time could we save, and how much more could we read, if we managed to double our reading speed ?
This session is designed to:
- Double reading speed and still increase our level of comprehension
- Learn to page read at various speeds for greater retention
- Read faster by taking in chunks of words
- Learn how to power-browse a book to get a quick overview
- Learn how to build a critical connection with the material
- Increase reading effectiveness and save time, and
- Show how to get the 20% you need without having to read the 80% you don’t need
All conducted with hands on practical exercises throughout.
When: Tuesday Dec 2, 8:30am – 12:00pm
Where: Airlie Leadership Development Centre
There will be a networking lunch upon conclusion
This session is now fully subscribed – many thanks.
