Who can remember the opening scene in Monty Python’s “Meaning of Life?” Well this could be the closest you will ever get to replicating that.

The CIN invites members to attend a very different luncheon session on Friday, October 6 with guest facilitator from Canada, Larry Peterson. During this session we will be looking at ways of leading complex change using Open Space Technology and utilising a unique centrally positioned fishbowl, which will allow those interested to participate and share their views with the entire room.

Open Space Technology is a powerful large group method being used to engage the ideas and passion of stakeholders and to build momentum for change processes in government, business and communities around the world. Larry is one of the foremost practitioners of this method which to date has influenced thinking, driven increased collaboration and generated positive shifts in organisational cultures world-wide.

VPS CIN members are invited to join Larry on October 6th for Leading Complex Change & Opening Space, a Continuous Improvement Network event at the Victorian Arts Centre.

The design of this unique session has been a collaborative effort between the CIN and Anecdote.

Enjoyed Edwards DeBonos thought provoking presentation and creative commentary, great choice of speaker! Lunch was also good – loved the cheese! Keep up the good work!

For those interested, there is some discussion referring to this event on Anecdote’s site, where Larry answers some questions on Open Space. (See Favourite Links at right)
